How It Works

The AS400M6-72 solar panel converts sunlight into electrical energy using high-efficiency monocrystalline PERC cells connected in a 72-cell configuration. When sunlight reaches the cell surface, photons are absorbed and generate an electric charge inside the silicon material. This charge is collected and routed through internal busbars, creating direct current electricity at the panel terminals. Under standard test conditions the module delivers up to 400 Wp, with a voltage at maximum power of 39.5 V and a current at maximum power of 10.13 A. An open-circuit voltage of 48.5 V and short-circuit current of 10.51 A help ensure robust string performance. The generated DC power is then supplied via MC4 connectors to system wiring, where an inverter converts it into usable AC power for on-site loads or grid export.

This is the first stage of my three planned purches. I got the eg4 inverter 6000 XP base kit with six 400 watt panels and the two server rack batteries. Did a little online research and followed the instructions and it got set up without any issues. Right now I'm just running it in my garage on a single outlet and have been running dual 750 watt water distillers with it. Once I get the second inverter and a bunch more panels and batteries, I plan on attaching it to my subpanel in my house that has my lights and outlets and appliances on it. Then I'll get a soft start for my AC and blower and run it on my main panel.
