The Solenso Gorilla N60G_385 solar panel converts sunlight into clean electricity using N-Type IBC half cells. Light strikes the front glass and passes to the advanced cell structure, where photons generate charge carriers. These carriers are collected within the back contact grid and directed through the internal busbars. The resulting direct current flows to the junction box and exits through the 4 mm² cables and MC4 connectors. Because the module is bifacial, light reflected from the ground or roof also enters the rear glass. This rear light raises overall energy yield when suitable mounting conditions are provided. The double glass build and N-Type chemistry help maintain electrical performance during decades of outdoor exposure.
N-Type IBC energy conversion: N-Type IBC cells place all metallic contacts on the rear of the cell. This reduces shading on the front surface and improves light capture. The N-Type base resists light induced degradation, so power remains more stable over time. This architecture supports high efficiency and reliable performance in real world temperatures.
Bifacial rear side generation: The Gorilla N60G_385 uses a transparent rear glass layer instead of an opaque backsheet. This allows photons reflected from ground or roof surfaces to reach the cells from behind. With a bifacial factor of 75±5%, significant extra output is possible in bright environments. System designers can optimize tilt, height and surface albedo to capture these additional gains.
Double glass protection and reliability: The 2.2 mm front glass and 2.0 mm rear glass encapsulate the cells and encapsulant completely. This construction limits moisture ingress and offers strong resistance to mechanical stress. PID and LeTID risks are mitigated through careful material selection and N-Type cell design.
