This Jinko 54HL4R-BDB 440W module converts sunlight into usable electricity using high-efficiency N-type TOPCon mono-crystalline solar cells. When sunlight strikes the front glass, photons are absorbed by the 108 half-cut cells and generate a flow of direct current. The bifacial design also allows the rear glass to capture reflected light from surfaces like light-colored roofs, concrete, or ground coverings. Both sides feed current through a multi-busbar cell layout and low-resistance conductors to minimize internal losses. The generated DC power flows through the junction box and MC4-compatible connectors into the DC wiring and inverter. The inverter then changes DC into AC electricity that can power loads or feed into the grid. A 1500 V system rating and robust dual-glass construction help maintain performance under high system voltages, mechanical loads, and temperature swings, enabling stable operation within modern string and hybrid inverter architectures.
N-type TOPCon cell conversion: The panel uses N-type mono-crystalline cells with TOPCon technology to improve charge collection and reduce recombination losses. This structure supports higher efficiency and mitigates common degradation modes, so more of the incoming sunlight is converted into consistent power over time.
Bifacial dual-glass energy gain: Front glass with anti-reflection coating optimizes light entry, while the rear glass allows the module to utilize reflected irradiance.
