The Escelco ESP260W-60F-M2-S solar panel converts sunlight into usable electrical energy through high quality polycrystalline cells. When photons hit the 60 full size cells, they create a direct current which is channelled through the internal cell interconnections. This current flows to the junction box and then to the external DC cables where it can be routed to an inverter or charge controller. The anti reflection tempered glass improves light transmission to the cells while maintaining impact resistance and long term clarity. Thermal behaviour is carefully managed so output remains stable across normal operating temperatures.
The integrated bypass diodes inside the IP68 junction box help reduce power loss during partial shading by allowing current to bypass shaded cell strings. This keeps the module operating more efficiently when shadows pass over part of the surface. The linear performance warranty reflects the controlled degradation rate of around 0.8 percent per year, which ensures dependable output throughout the 25 year coverage period. Installers can design arrays in strings matched to the module voltage and current values to suit different inverter inputs.
