The EX150P-36 is built with 3.2 mm high-transmittance tempered glass and a robust frame for long outdoor life. Carefully engineered electrical parameters ensure stable performance with common charge controllers and inverters. When sunlight hits the EX150P-36 module, its polycrystalline cells convert light into direct current electricity. The 36 full-size cells are interconnected to deliver a stable voltage suitable for typical 12V solar battery charging systems. At maximum power, the panel operates at 18.18 V and 8.25 A, producing 150 Wp under standard test conditions. Generated DC power is routed through the junction box and 4 mm² cables to a charge controller or inverter. The charge controller manages battery charging, while an inverter can transform DC into AC for household loads. Temperature coefficients ensure predictable behavior as module temperature rises or falls during the day. A wide operating temperature range keeps production stable in both hot summers and cold winters. Mechanical design, including tempered glass and a strong frame, protects the cells so conversion remains efficient over many years.
Solar energy capture and conversion: Incoming sunlight is absorbed by the polycrystalline silicon cells, freeing electrons inside the material. These electrons are guided by the cell’s internal electric field, creating direct current that flows through the panel’s busbars and ribbons.
