The SENEC 440 solar panel converts sunlight into usable electrical energy using high efficiency N type TOPCon solar cells. Each half cut cell is wired in an optimized layout to reduce resistive losses and improve shade tolerance. When sunlight hits the front glass, photons are absorbed by the N type cells and freed electrons create direct current power. The bifacial glass glass design also allows light to reach the rear cell surfaces, so reflected and diffuse light contributes to additional output. The DC energy flows through factory fitted MC4 compatible connectors to an inverter, which converts it to AC for household or commercial loads. Smart system design, including proper tilt, orientation, and mounting height, helps the module achieve its rated performance within real world conditions.
N-Type TOPCon cell conversion: Inside the module, N type TOPCon cells use a passivated contact structure to minimize electron recombination losses. This allows more of the captured sunlight to be converted into electrical energy instead of heat. Because N type silicon has low susceptibility to light induced degradation, the initial power level is maintained more effectively during the first years of operation.
Half-cut and bifacial design synergy: The cells are cut into halves and arranged to reduce the current in each string, which lowers resistive losses. This layout, combined with bifacial glass glass construction, supports better shade behaviour and improved yield from indirect light.
