The SENEC 455 N-Type TOPCon bifacial monocrystalline solar panel is designed for long term reliability and high energy yield. With a nominal output of 455 watts and module efficiency up to 22.8 percent, this panel makes excellent use of available roof or ground space. N-type TOPCon half cells deliver strong performance under real world conditions, including high temperatures and low light. The bifacial design allows additional energy harvest from reflected light on the rear side. How It Works

The SENEC 455 solar panel converts sunlight into direct current electricity using high efficiency N-type TOPCon solar cells. When sunlight hits the front glass, photons are absorbed in the monocrystalline cells and release electrons. An internal electric field guides these electrons, creating current that flows through the module busbars and cables. Because the panel is bifacial, the rear glass also captures reflected light from the roof or ground surface. This extra irradiance increases the overall power output, especially on bright surfaces such as light gravel or reflective membranes. The direct current from the modules is then routed to a compatible inverter, which converts it into alternating current for household or commercial loads and for export to the grid.

N-type TOPCon cell conversion: Each half cell uses N-type silicon with TOPCon technology to reduce recombination losses and enhance efficiency. The cell structure maintains performance better at high temperatures and during long term operation, helping the array produce more energy over its lifetime.

Bifacial rear side generation: The transparent rear glass allows light to reach the cell rear surfaces. Reflected and diffuse light from the ground or roof is converted into additional electricity. This rear side contribution is especially valuable for elevated installations with bright surfaces below the array.

Module integration in your system: Multiple SENEC 455 panels are wired in series strings to reach the desired array voltage. Strings connect to a string inverter or suitable hybrid inverter within the 1500 volt system limit. From there, the inverter manages maximum power point tracking, safety disconnection, and AC grid integration.

EG4 off-grid base kit, Happy with my purchase.

This is the first stage of my three planned purches. I got the eg4 inverter 6000 XP base kit with six 400 watt panels and the two server rack batteries. Did a little online research and followed the instructions and it got set up without any issues. Right now I'm just running it in my garage on a single outlet and have been running dual 750 watt water distillers with it. Once I get the second inverter and a bunch more panels and batteries, I plan on attaching it to my subpanel in my house that has my lights and outlets and appliances on it. Then I'll get a soft start for my AC and blower and run it on my main panel.
