The SENEC 460 N-Type TOPCon Bifacial Monocrystalline Solar Panel delivers high power in a compact footprint for residential and commercial rooftops. This advanced module combines N-type TOPCon cell technology with a bifacial design to achieve up to 460 Wp and 23 percent efficiency under standard test conditions. Energy yield is further boosted by its transparent rear glass, which captures reflected light from behind the panel. With robust German engineering, a 30 year product warranty, and long term power coverage, this panel is designed for reliable output and low levelized cost of energy across demanding European climates.
High power density for limited roof space: Up to 460 watts of nominal power are delivered in a 1.762 by 1.134 meter format. This strong power density allows more output from small roofs and compact commercial arrays.
Bifacial energy gain for higher yields: The transparent rear glass enables power generation from both sides of the module. Additional yield is captured from bright surfaces such as light roofs, gravel beds, or ground mounted systems.
Durable construction for harsh weather: A tempered front glass with anti reflection coating and a 2 millimeter rear glass protect the cells. The black anodized aluminium frame and IP68 junction box provide strong resistance to moisture, dust, and hail up to 40 millimeters.
Long term performance security: A 30 year product warranty is combined with a 30 year power warranty based on N type degradation behavior. Output remains at 99 percent after the first year and 87.4 percent after 30 years with a low annual degradation rate of 0.42 percent.
Flexible system integration: The module supports system voltages up to 1500 volts, which suits modern string inverters and optimizers. Standard MC4 Evo2A connectors and 1100 millimeter leads simplify installation for roof and ground mounted arrays.
The SENEC 460 solar panel converts sunlight into usable electrical energy through highly efficient N type TOPCon monocrystalline cells. Light strikes the front glass, passes through the anti reflection coating, and reaches the precisely arranged half cells. Electrons in the silicon are activated and create direct current, which flows through the internal busbars into the junction box and onward to the inverter. Because the module is bifacial, reflected light hitting the rear glass also contributes to power production. This rear side gain increases energy yield over the year, especially on bright or reflective mounting surfaces. Reliable performance is maintained across a wide temperature range, which safeguards output in both hot summers and cold winters.
N-Type TOPCon half cell architecture: Each module uses N type TOPCon half cells sized 182 by 187 millimeters. These cells feature low susceptibility to light induced degradation, so power remains stable over decades. The half cell layout reduces resistive losses and improves shade tolerance along each string.
Bifacial double glass design: The panel uses a double glass sandwich, with a 2 millimeter high transparency front glass and a 2 millimeter tempered rear glass. Light entering from the rear side is converted into extra current, which raises the effective output beyond the front side rating. This design also seals the cells against moisture, mechanical stress, and ultraviolet exposure.
Power delivery to your inverter: Direct current produced by the cells is consolidated at the IP68 rated junction box with three bypass diodes. These diodes limit power loss when partial shading occurs on the module surface. From the box, current is transmitted through 4 square millimeter cables and MC4 Evo2A connectors to the inverter, where it is converted into grid compatible alternating current.
