The AIKO AIKO-A650-MAE72Mw solar panel converts sunlight directly into usable DC electricity using advanced N-Type ABC back contact cells. When sunlight strikes the monocrystalline cell surface, photons are absorbed and release electrons in the N-Type silicon layer. These free electrons are driven by the cell’s internal electric field toward the rear contacts, creating a stable electrical current. Because the contacts are placed on the back of the cell, light shading from front busbars is avoided and more light enters the active surface. The resulting DC power flows through the internal string layout, then exits via the MC4 compatible connectors. This power can be connected to a string or hybrid inverter, which converts the DC energy into AC power for buildings or grids. The high system voltage rating and precise electrical parameters allow optimized string design with many modern inverters. Durable encapsulation materials and a weather resistant frame protect the cells so this conversion process continues efficiently for decades.
N-Type ABC back contact cell conversion: N-Type ABC cells use a high purity silicon base that reduces defect related recombination. Rear side contacts collect charge without shading the front, so light capture and current output increase compared to conventional front contact cells.
