This process requires no action from the user. When utility power returns to stable levels, the switch automatically retransfers the load back. The system then allows the generator to cool down before shutting off. This cycle ensures continuous power availability during grid disruptions.

Utility Power Monitoring: The controller checks voltage and frequency 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. It identifies unsatisfactory power conditions immediately to trigger the backup sequence.

Break-Before-Make Action: The mechanism uses independent break-before-make action for 2-pole single phase switches. This prevents simultaneous closing of normal and emergency contacts to avoid short circuits.

Mechanical Interlock: A powerful solenoid drives the mechanically interlocked contactor mechanism. This interlock physically prevents both normal and emergency contacts from closing at the same time.

This is the first stage of my three planned purches. I got the eg4 inverter 6000 XP base kit with six 400 watt panels and the two server rack batteries. Did a little online research and followed the instructions and it got set up without any issues. Right now I'm just running it in my garage on a single outlet and have been running dual 750 watt water distillers with it. Once I get the second inverter and a bunch more panels and batteries, I plan on attaching it to my subpanel in my house that has my lights and outlets and appliances on it. Then I'll get a soft start for my AC and blower and run it on my main panel.
