The Cummins OTEC 600 Amp NSE Automatic Transfer Switch is a heavy-duty solution for commercial and industrial backup power. How It Works

This Automatic Transfer Switch continuously monitors the primary utility power source for voltage stability. When an outage or power failure is detected, the microprocessor signals the generator to start immediately. Once the generator reaches the correct voltage and frequency, the switch transfers the electrical load to the backup source. This process happens automatically to prevent disruption to critical operations. The system remains on generator power until the utility source stabilizes. Upon restoration, the switch re-transfers the load back to utility power and coasts the generator down. This open-transition design prevents source-to-source connection for maximum safety.

Continuous Utility Monitoring: The controller constantly senses three-phase utility voltage to detect outages or frequency deviations instantly.

Bi-Directional Linear Actuation: A unique linear motor actuator provides friction-free, straight-line transfer action without complex gears or linkages.

Safety Interlocking System: Mechanical and electrical interlocks prevent accidental connection between utility and generator sources simultaneously.

This is the first stage of my three planned purches. I got the eg4 inverter 6000 XP base kit with six 400 watt panels and the two server rack batteries. Did a little online research and followed the instructions and it got set up without any issues. Right now I'm just running it in my garage on a single outlet and have been running dual 750 watt water distillers with it. Once I get the second inverter and a bunch more panels and batteries, I plan on attaching it to my subpanel in my house that has my lights and outlets and appliances on it. Then I'll get a soft start for my AC and blower and run it on my main panel.
