The Cummins RA 100 Automatic Transfer Switch (MPN A051C991) is a genuine OEM component designed for seamless integration with Cummins standby generator systems. Rated for 120/240V single-phase operation, this 100-amp non-service entrance (NSE) transfer switch automatically transfers power between utility and generator sources to ensure uninterrupted power during outages. This integrated version of the RA Series combines a 20-space branch circuit breaker panel with the transfer switch in a single NEMA 1 indoor enclosure, allowing for a simplified, quicker installation compared to standalone transfer switch configurations. The panel supports up to 24 circuits with the use of tandem breakers and is compatible with Square D QW series breakers, giving installers flexibility when wiring critical home loads.

The Cummins RA 100 Automatic Transfer Switch provides dependable, automatic power switching for standby systems. When a utility failure is detected, the ATS signals the generator to start and transfers the load once power stabilizes. Upon utility restoration, it safely switches back to the grid. Its 100-amp rating makes it ideal for residential homes, small offices, and light-commercial facilities requiring continuous power reliability.

This is the first stage of my three planned purches. I got the eg4 inverter 6000 XP base kit with six 400 watt panels and the two server rack batteries. Did a little online research and followed the instructions and it got set up without any issues. Right now I'm just running it in my garage on a single outlet and have been running dual 750 watt water distillers with it. Once I get the second inverter and a bunch more panels and batteries, I plan on attaching it to my subpanel in my house that has my lights and outlets and appliances on it. Then I'll get a soft start for my AC and blower and run it on my main panel.
