How It Works

The Fronius Primo continuously converts DC electricity generated by your solar panels into clean, grid-compatible single-phase 240VAC power. Its two independent MPPT inputs simultaneously track the maximum power point of separate strings or roof orientations, while the onboard Wi-Fi module streams live production data to the Fronius Solar.web monitoring platform — giving installers and system owners full remote visibility without any additional hardware.

Dual MPPT DC Conversion: Two independent maximum power point trackers continuously scan each connected PV string's IV curve to extract peak power simultaneously, ensuring optimal energy harvest from arrays with mixed orientations, different tilt angles, or unequal shading patterns.

SnapINverter Mounting & DC Disconnect: The inverter body snaps onto a fixed wall bracket that houses all wiring connections and an integrated DC disconnect switch — enabling the inverter to be removed for servicing in seconds while leaving all field wiring safely connected and isolated.

EG4 off-grid base kit, Happy with my purchase.

This is the first stage of my three planned purches. I got the eg4 inverter 6000 XP base kit with six 400 watt panels and the two server rack batteries. Did a little online research and followed the instructions and it got set up without any issues. Right now I'm just running it in my garage on a single outlet and have been running dual 750 watt water distillers with it. Once I get the second inverter and a bunch more panels and batteries, I plan on attaching it to my subpanel in my house that has my lights and outlets and appliances on it. Then I'll get a soft start for my AC and blower and run it on my main panel.
