Small Parcel (UPS / FedEx)

Orders under 150 lbs ship via UPS or FedEx Ground. Typical delivery time is 3–7 business days depending on your location. Tracking numbers are emailed within 24 hours of shipment.

LTL Freight (Solar Panels, Batteries, Large Inverters)

Orders over 150 lbs or with large dimensions ship via LTL (Less Than Truckload) freight. Typical delivery time is 5–10 business days. LTL shipments require a delivery appointment and a forklift or loading dock at the destination. Residential deliveries require a liftgate service (additional $75–$150).

Container Shipping (500+ Panels)

Utility-scale and commercial orders of 500+ panels ship via full container load (FCL). Container shipping is quoted on a per-project basis and includes logistics coordination, customs documentation (for international), and delivery to the project site. Same-Day Shipping

Orders placed before 2:00 PM ET (11:00 AM PT) on business days ship same day. Orders placed after the cutoff time ship the next business day. Same-day shipping applies to in-stock items only. Backordered items ship when stock becomes available.

Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you will receive an email with a tracking number and carrier information. You can also track your order in your account dashboard. For LTL shipments, the carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment.

Freight Delivery Requirements

• Commercial Address: Requires a loading dock or forklift. If neither is available, liftgate service is required (additional $75–$150).
• Residential Address: Requires liftgate service for all LTL deliveries. The driver will lower the pallet to ground level. You are responsible for moving the pallet from the curb to your property.
• Delivery Appointment: LTL carriers require a delivery appointment. Please provide a phone number where you can be reached to schedule delivery.
• Inspection: Inspect all shipments before signing the delivery receipt. Note any damage on the bill of lading. If the shipment is severely damaged, refuse delivery and contact us immediately.

International Shipping

We ship to Canada, Mexico, and select international destinations. International orders require:

• Customs documentation and commercial invoices
• Payment of import duties and taxes by the recipient
• Possible hazmat documentation for batteries and inverters

Shipping Damage

If your shipment arrives damaged:

1. Take photos of the damage and the packaging before opening
2. Note the damage on the delivery receipt (BOL) before signing
3. Contact us within 48 hours at (888) 876-0007 or support@portlandiaelectric.supply
4. We will file a freight claim and arrange a replacement or refund at no cost to you
