How do I convert watts to kWh?
Divide watts by 1,000 to get kW, then multiply by hours of use: kWh = (Watts / 1000) x Hours. A 400W solar panel producing for 5 hours generates 2.0 kWh/day.
How many kWh does a 400W solar panel produce per day?
Assuming 5 peak sun hours: (400W / 1000) x 5 = 2.0 kWh/day, or about 60 kWh/month.
How many solar panels do I need for 30 kWh/day?
