This ABi-Solar module converts sunlight into usable direct current power through high efficiency PERC monocrystalline cells. Each of the 120 half cut cells is wired to reduce resistance and limit internal power loss during operation. When sunlight reaches the front glass, it passes through to the silicon cells where photons free electrons and create current. The rear side PERC structure reflects unabsorbed light back into the cell, increasing the chance of conversion. At standard test conditions the module reaches 465 watts at around 35.23 volts and 13.22 amps. The junction box collects the current from internal cell strings and routes it through MC4 connectors. This power then feeds into a solar inverter or charge controller, where it is converted for on site use or export. Protective diodes inside the junction box limit mismatch losses and help safeguard the module against shading effects. The entire assembly works together to deliver steady output while managing temperature, voltage and current safely.
PERC monocrystalline cell architecture: The cells use a passivated rear surface that reflects unused light back into the silicon layer. This design raises internal efficiency and helps the panel deliver higher output in strong and diffuse light conditions.
