Sol-Ark

Continuous AC output: 8kW, 12kW (9.6kW continuous rated), and 15kW respectively — pick based on the loads you need to run simultaneously. All three are 48V hybrid inverters with the same architecture: dual MPPTs, grid sell-back, generator input, and whole-home backup capability. The 12K and 15K stack in parallel for larger homes and small commercial.

Sol-Ark is battery-agnostic across 48V lithium and lead-acid. It runs closed-loop CAN communication with the major LiFePO4 brands (EG4, Pytes, Fortress, HomeGrid, and others) for state-of-charge and charge control, and open-loop voltage-based charging with essentially any 48V bank. That flexibility is the main reason installers standardize on it.

Both — that's the point of the architecture. Grid-tied, it sells excess solar back and islands the house during outages with sub-20ms transfer. Off-grid, it runs the property from solar and batteries with a generator as backup charge source. Many customers install grid-tied with battery backup and never notice an outage again.

The 15K accepts up to 19.5kW of PV across its MPPTs; the 12K around 13kW; the 8K about 11kW. You can oversize PV beyond AC output — the inverter clips peaks and uses the excess curve for battery charging. Design strings within the MPPT voltage window on each model's spec sheet.
