How It Works
The Bluebird Solar BBS24F330 converts sunlight into usable electricity through the photovoltaic effect. When solar photons strike the polycrystalline silicon cells, they release electrons to generate direct current. This direct current flows through the junction box to external circuits or inverters for power conversion. The panel's anti-reflective coating maximizes light capture by reducing surface reflection losses. The anodized aluminum frame provides structural integrity while protecting the internal components from environmental stress.
Photon Absorption: Sunlight photons hit the 72 polycrystalline cells to release electrons and create an electric field. This process initiates the flow of direct current within the silicon material.
Current Generation: Released electrons move through the cell layers to form a continuous electrical current. This current is collected by the front and back conductors for transmission.
Power Transmission: The generated electricity passes through the junction box containing three diodes for safety. It then travels to the inverter for conversion into usable alternating current.
