The Enphase IQ8HC Microinverter (Model IQ8HC‑72‑M‑US) is a high‑power, compact microinverter built for both residential and commercial grid‑tie installations. It delivers up to 384 VA peak output at 240 VAC (or 366 VA at 208 VAC) and supports solar module input power in the 320–540 W range.
Powered by Enphase’s proprietary 55 nm ASIC chip, the IQ8HC offers ultra‑fast response to changing load and grid events, enabling both grid‑tied and microgrid/off‑grid operation (when used with an IQ System Controller). It has undergone more than one million hours of reliability testing and carries an industry‑leading 25‑year limited warranty, provided an internet‑connected IQ Gateway is installed.
The unit includes integrated MC4 DC connectors and plug‑and‑play wiring using Enphase’s two‑wire IQ cabling system. It meets UL‑1741 rapid shutdown requirements and complies with advanced grid codes including CA Rule 21 and IEEE 1547:2018.
