How It Works
The FGET FGET-270PD05 solar panel converts sunlight into usable electricity through the photovoltaic effect. When sunlight hits the 60 polycrystalline cells, photons excite electrons within the semiconductor material. These free electrons flow through an internal circuit to create direct current electricity. The anti-reflection coating on the glass ensures maximum photon absorption even during low-light mornings. This process continues efficiently throughout the day as long as sunlight reaches the panel surface. The generated direct current is then sent to an inverter for conversion into alternating current for home use.
Photon Absorption: Sunlight photons strike the polycrystalline silicon cells to release electrons and generate an electric current. The anti-reflection coating on the tempered glass minimizes light loss and boosts absorption rates.
Electron Flow: Excited electrons move through the internal semiconductor structure to create a flow of direct current electricity. This current travels through the MC4 connectors to the external wiring system for power distribution.
Current Conversion: The direct current generated is sent to an inverter that converts it into alternating current for household appliances. This conversion allows the solar energy to power lights, electronics, and other devices effectively.
