How It Works
The GCLSI 550W solar panel converts sunlight into electricity using advanced photovoltaic technology. Sunlight hits the 144 monocrystalline cells, exciting electrons to create an electric current. This current flows through the internal circuit to the junction box for collection. The panel then delivers clean energy to inverters or directly to building loads. Its BIPV design allows it to function as both a power generator and a building material. The anodized aluminum frame protects internal components from environmental stress. Photon Absorption: Sunlight photons strike the monocrystalline silicon cells. This impact excites electrons within the silicon lattice structure. The excited electrons move freely to generate electrical current.
Current Collection: The generated current flows through internal conductors. It reaches the junction box equipped with three diodes. The box protects the system from reverse current damage.
