How It Works
This Green Sun Solar panel converts sunlight into electricity through the photovoltaic effect using monocrystalline silicon cells. When photons strike the 156.7mm x 156.7mm cells, they excite electrons to generate a direct current. The system connects to inverters via MC4 connectors and 4mm² cables for efficient power transmission. The encapsulation layer uses EVA to bond cells securely while the tempered glass front protects against impact. This design ensures consistent energy output even under varying irradiance levels of 1000w/m². The panel maintains performance with minimal degradation over its 25-year lifespan.
Photon Absorption: Sunlight photons hit the monocrystalline cells to release electrons and create an electric current. This process happens instantly across all 72 cells in the 6x12 array.
Current Generation: The released electrons flow through the internal circuit to produce a nominal current of 8.58 Amps. This current is then collected at the junction box for external connection.
Power Transmission: Power flows through MC4 connectors to inverters for conversion into usable household electricity. The 4mm² cable ensures minimal resistance during this transmission process.
