How It Works
The Greensun Solar GSM355-72 panel converts sunlight into usable electricity through the photovoltaic effect. When photons strike the monocrystalline silicon cells, they excite electrons to generate an electric current. This direct current is then collected by the busbars and sent to an inverter for conversion into alternating current. The system operates efficiently across a wide power range of 345 to 360 Wp. Its design minimizes energy loss during transmission to the grid or battery storage unit.
Photon Absorption: Sunlight photons hit the 156x156 mm cells to release free electrons. This process initiates the flow of electrical energy within the semiconductor material.
Current Generation: Released electrons flow through the internal circuit to create direct current. The 72-cell configuration ensures sufficient voltage for standard inverter inputs.
Energy Collection: Busbars collect the generated current and transfer it to external terminals. The 18.3% efficiency rating ensures minimal energy loss during this transfer phase.
