How It Works
This solar panel converts sunlight into electricity through the photovoltaic effect within its monocrystalline silicon cells. When photons strike the cell surface, they excite electrons to create a flow of direct current electricity. The PERC technology adds a passivation layer on the rear to reflect unused light back into the cell. This process significantly boosts the overall efficiency and power output of the module. The integrated junction box collects this current and routes it safely to the external circuit. Three diodes inside the box prevent reverse current flow during shading or nighttime conditions. The anodized aluminum frame provides structural integrity while protecting the internal components from environmental stress.
Photon Absorption: Sunlight photons hit the 182mm monocrystalline cells to release electrons. This action generates an immediate flow of electrical current within the cell structure.
PERC Enhancement: The rear passivation layer reflects unabsorbed light back into the silicon. This reflection increases the total energy captured by the cell significantly.
