How It Works
This solar panel converts sunlight into usable electricity through the photovoltaic effect. When photons strike the monocrystalline silicon cells, they release electrons. PERC technology adds a passivation layer to reduce electron loss and boost efficiency. The released electrons flow through the internal circuit to create direct current. This current is then collected by the output terminals for use or storage.
Photon Absorption: Sunlight hits the silicon cells and releases free electrons. The energy from photons is absorbed by the semiconductor material. This process initiates the flow of electrical current within the cell structure.
Electron Flow: Released electrons move through the internal circuit to generate power. The passivation layer in PERC cells prevents energy loss. This ensures maximum current collection for higher output efficiency.
Current Collection: Electrical current is gathered by the output terminals. The junction box protects the connections from environmental damage. The current flows to the system for immediate use or battery storage.
