How It Works
The Navitas Solar NSA 345 Polycrystalline Solar Panel converts sunlight into usable electricity through photovoltaic action. Sunlight photons strike the 72 polycrystalline silicon cells embedded within the module. These photons energize electrons within the silicon atoms, creating a flow of direct current. The internal electrical circuit captures this current and directs it to the junction box. The junction box contains three by-pass diodes to optimize performance under partial shading. This system ensures that energy production continues even if some cells are blocked. The panel connects to inverters via MC4 compatible connectors for safe power transmission. The anti-reflective coating glass enhances light absorption by reducing surface reflection losses. This design maximizes the energy yield per square meter of installed surface area.
Photovoltaic Conversion: Sunlight photons excite electrons in the silicon cells to generate direct current electricity. This process creates a continuous flow of energy whenever light is present.
