How It Works
The Navitas Solar NSM575-156 converts sunlight into electricity using 156 half-cut Mono PERC cells. Photons strike the silicon cells, exciting electrons to create a direct current. This current flows through the busbars and into the junction box for external connection. The half-cut design splits each cell into two, reducing resistive losses significantly. This configuration allows the panel to function like two parallel modules internally. It maintains high efficiency even when parts of the panel are shaded or obstructed. The anti-reflective glass maximizes light transmission to the active cell surface. The anodized aluminum frame provides structural integrity and protects the edges. The IP68 junction box ensures the internal connections remain safe from environmental damage.
Photon Absorption: Sunlight photons hit the PERC cells, releasing electrons to generate electrical current. The anti-reflective coating ensures minimal light loss during this process.
