How It Works
The Navitas Solar NSM600-156 converts sunlight into electricity using advanced monocrystalline PERC cells. Sunlight strikes the anti-reflective glass, allowing photons to reach the silicon cells efficiently. The half-cut cell architecture splits each cell into two, reducing electrical resistance and heat buildup. This design minimizes power loss during shading events, ensuring consistent energy production. The 10-busbar design further optimizes current collection for higher efficiency. The junction box safely manages the generated power before sending it to the inverter.
Photon Absorption: Sunlight photons hit the silicon cells to release electrons and generate direct current. The anti-reflective coating ensures maximum light penetration into the cell structure.
Half-Cell Efficiency: Splitting cells reduces internal resistance by half, lowering operating temperatures significantly. This design also improves performance when parts of the panel are shaded by obstacles.
Power Management: The IP68 junction box with three bypass diodes protects the circuit from reverse currents. It safely routes the generated power through MC4 connectors to the system inverter.
