How It Works
The Photon Energy Systems PM0280 solar panel converts sunlight into usable electricity through the photovoltaic effect. When solar photons strike the polycrystalline silicon cells, they excite electrons to create a flow of electric current. This direct current is then collected by the internal conductors and sent to the junction box for external connection. The panel's design minimizes energy loss through optimized cell sorting and high fill factors.
