    How It Works

    This REC heterojunction bifacial solar panel converts sunlight into usable electrical energy using advanced cell technology. When sunlight hits the 120 half cut monocrystalline cells, photons are absorbed and release electrons within the silicon layers. Heterojunction construction combines crystalline silicon with thin film layers to reduce losses and increase power conversion efficiency. Because the module is bifacial, the rear glass also collects reflected light from the ground or roof surface beneath the array. The resulting direct current power flows through optimized busbars to the IP68 junction box and integrated cables. From there, DC power is routed to a compatible inverter, which converts it to alternating current suitable for on site loads or export to the grid. Throughout this process, the panel operates within a wide temperature range, while low thermal coefficients help maintain output stability.

    Front side light capture and conversion: The front 2 mm solar glass uses an anti reflection coating to admit more light into the cells. Photons striking the monocrystalline silicon generate charge carriers, which are collected and directed into the module’s electrical circuit with reduced resistive losses.

    Rear side bifacial gain: The rear glass layer with a white grid is engineered to capture diffuse and reflected light. When installed above bright ground coverings, roofing membranes, or light colored ballast, additional irradiance reaches the rear cells, increasing total energy yield without extra roof area.

    System integration and protection: Three bypass diodes in the junction box help reduce mismatch losses under partial shading. Factory fitted 4 mm² solar cables and certified connectors support secure, low resistance connections to string wiring and inverters.
