    How It Works

    The REC REC620AA Pro MG solar panel converts sunlight into usable electrical power using high efficiency bifacial heterojunction cells. These cells combine crystalline silicon with thin amorphous silicon layers to increase light capture and reduce electrical losses. When sunlight hits the front or reflected light reaches the rear, photons are absorbed and generate charge carriers within the cell structure. The panel’s internal wiring and half‑cut cell layout guide this current efficiently to the module terminals. Once connected in a string, multiple panels feed direct current into an inverter, which converts it to alternating current for loads or export. The module has been optimized to perform in real outdoor conditions across a wide operating temperature range. Stable performance is maintained through precise temperature coefficients and robust materials that protect the cells from environmental stress.

    Bifacial light harvesting: Front and rear glass surfaces allow the cell matrix to receive light from both directions. Reflected irradiation from bright surfaces or nearby structures can be utilized to increase total energy generation without enlarging the array footprint.
