How It Works
This Seraphim SRP-555-BMA-HV solar panel converts sunlight into usable DC electricity using high efficiency monocrystalline PERC cells. When sunlight hits the 182 mm PERC cells, photons are absorbed and electrons are released inside the silicon structure. These electrons are guided through the cell grid and collected as electrical current at the module terminals. The panel delivers a maximum power output of 555 W at around 42.31 V and 13.12 A under standard conditions. At nominal operating cell temperature, the module still supplies 418 W of power with stable current and voltage. The generated DC electricity is then routed through cables to a compatible inverter or charge controller in the system. The inverter changes the DC power into AC electricity that can be used on site or exported to the grid. Thanks to precise temperature coefficients and low power tolerance, system designers can predict yields accurately. Over the system lifetime, the linear degradation profile supports consistent energy production and dependable returns.
Monocrystalline PERC cell operation: Each of the 144 half cut PERC monocrystalline cells captures sunlight and converts it into electrical charge. The PERC structure reflects unabsorbed light back into the cell, increasing the chance of conversion and boosting output.
Module level power delivery: The panel reaches maximum power at 42.31 V and 13.12 A, delivering strong performance on utility and rooftop strings. Under NOCT conditions, voltage and current adjust to 38.68 V and 10.81 A while maintaining efficient energy delivery.
Temperature and low light behaviour: The -0.34 percent per degree coefficient ensures moderate power loss as cell temperatures increase during operation. Low light optimized design and anti reflection coated glass help the module keep producing energy in cloudy or early hours.
