How It Works
The Solarland USA SLP120-12U converts sunlight into electricity using the photovoltaic effect within its 72 polycrystalline cells. When photons strike the silicon cells, they excite electrons to create a flow of direct current. This current is then collected by the internal busbars and routed through the junction box for external use. The panel operates efficiently within a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. Its design ensures stable power delivery even as environmental conditions fluctuate. The tempered glass protects the cells while allowing maximum light transmission.
Photon Absorption: Sunlight photons hit the polycrystalline silicon cells to release free electrons. This process initiates the generation of electrical energy.
Electron Flow: Released electrons move through the internal circuit to create a direct current. The current flows out through the connected cables.
