The Solis S5-GC100K-US is a high-capacity 100kW transformerless string inverter purpose-built for three-phase commercial rooftop and ground-mount solar projects operating at 480 VAC. How It Works

The S5-GC100K-US accepts DC power from up to 20 PV strings across 10 independent MPPT inputs and converts it to clean three-phase 480 VAC power for direct grid connection. Its transformerless architecture minimizes conversion losses, while its integrated protection and monitoring systems ensure safe, autonomous, high-performance operation around the clock.

10-Channel Independent MPPT: Each MPPT channel independently tracks and optimizes the power point of its assigned strings, eliminating cross-string mismatch losses and maximizing harvest across arrays with varying orientations or shading profiles.

Transformerless Power Conversion: The lightweight, high-efficiency transformerless topology achieves up to 98.8% peak efficiency and 98.2% CEC efficiency, minimizing heat generation and lowering balance-of-system costs for large commercial projects.

Integrated Safety & Communications: Onboard AFCI, rapid shutdown, ground fault monitoring, anti-islanding, surge protection (DC Type II / AC Type II), and nighttime PID recovery operate automatically, while RS485, Ethernet, and optional wireless communications deliver real-time system visibility.

EG4 off-grid base kit, Happy with my purchase.

This is the first stage of my three planned purches. I got the eg4 inverter 6000 XP base kit with six 400 watt panels and the two server rack batteries. Did a little online research and followed the instructions and it got set up without any issues. Right now I'm just running it in my garage on a single outlet and have been running dual 750 watt water distillers with it. Once I get the second inverter and a bunch more panels and batteries, I plan on attaching it to my subpanel in my house that has my lights and outlets and appliances on it. Then I'll get a soft start for my AC and blower and run it on my main panel.
