How It Works
The Surana Solar SVL 0230P converts sunlight directly into usable electricity through photovoltaic action. When solar photons hit the polycrystalline silicon cells, they excite electrons to create a flow of current. This direct current is then collected by the internal busbars and routed to the external terminals. The system operates optimally at 25°C cell temperature with 1000W/m² irradiance. Three bypass diodes inside the junction box prevent power loss from shaded cells. The MC4 compatible connectors ensure a secure and weather-resistant electrical connection to your system.
Photon Absorption: Sunlight hits the 156mm silicon cells, releasing electrons to generate power. This process creates the initial direct current flow.
Current Collection: Busbars collect the released electrons and move them to the output terminals. The 7.8A current is maintained at maximum power voltage.
Diode Protection: Three bypass diodes protect the circuit from voltage drops due to shading. This ensures consistent energy output even in partial light.
