How It Works
The UFX100PM solar panel converts sunlight into usable electricity through the photovoltaic effect. When solar photons strike the poly-crystalline silicon cells, they excite electrons within the material. These excited electrons flow through an internal circuit, generating direct current electricity. The panel's 5-busbar cell technology optimizes this electron flow to maximize efficiency. The tempered glass front protects the cells while allowing maximum light transmission. The anodized aluminum frame holds the components securely in place. This generated power can then charge batteries or power DC devices directly. The system operates efficiently across a wide temperature range from -40°C to +85°C.
Photon Absorption: Sunlight photons hit the poly-crystalline cells and release electrons from their atomic bonds. This process initiates the flow of electrical current within the cell structure.
Current Generation: The released electrons flow through the 5-busbar network to create a continuous current. This current is collected at the junction box for external use.
Power Output: The panel delivers a peak power of 100W at 18.2 volts and 5.5 amps. This output remains stable even under varying light conditions.
