Victron MultiPlus Inverter Charger for Off-Grid Power Systems

The Victron Energy MultiPlus Inverter Charger combines a powerful true sine wave inverter with an adaptive battery charger in one compact unit. Model PMP242200102 delivers 2000VA continuous output from a 24V DC battery bank. This Victron MultiPlus features PowerAssist technology and a 50A transfer switch for seamless power management. It serves RVs, marine vessels, off-grid homes, and backup power installations with reliable performance.

Pure Sine Wave Inverter Technology

The inverter produces clean 120V AC power at 60Hz with less than 2% voltage deviation. Continuous output reaches 1600W at room temperature with 1400W at 40°C ambient. Peak power handling reaches 3500W for starting motors and high-inrush loads. This clean waveform safely powers sensitive electronics including computers and medical equipment.

Advanced Four-Stage Adaptive Charger

The 50A battery charger uses intelligent adaptive charging software for optimal battery health. Four charging stages include bulk, absorption, float, and storage modes. The charger automatically adjusts output based on battery condition and temperature. A secondary trickle charge output maintains starter batteries on marine and RV installations.

PowerAssist Technology Explained

EG4 off-grid base kit, Happy with my purchase.

This is the first stage of my three planned purches. I got the eg4 inverter 6000 XP base kit with six 400 watt panels and the two server rack batteries. Did a little online research and followed the instructions and it got set up without any issues. Right now I'm just running it in my garage on a single outlet and have been running dual 750 watt water distillers with it. Once I get the second inverter and a bunch more panels and batteries, I plan on attaching it to my subpanel in my house that has my lights and outlets and appliances on it. Then I'll get a soft start for my AC and blower and run it on my main panel.
