How It Works
The Waaree Energies WSM-390 solar panel converts sunlight into electricity through a sophisticated photovoltaic process. Sunlight hits the 72 monocrystalline silicon cells embedded in the panel. These cells generate electron flow when exposed to solar radiation. The PERC technology enhances this process by capturing more light energy. The electrical current is then collected by the busbars and transmitted through the MC4 connectors. This direct current can be used immediately or converted to alternating current for home use. The panel operates efficiently across a wide temperature range from -40 to 85 degrees Celsius.
Photovoltaic Conversion: Sunlight photons strike the silicon cells, releasing electrons that create an electrical current. This process generates direct current electricity from solar energy.
PERC Enhancement: Passivated Emitter and Rear Cell technology captures additional light that would otherwise be lost. This boosts the overall efficiency and power output of the panel.
Current Transmission: The generated current flows through internal busbars to the MC4 connectors. It then travels to the inverter for conversion to usable alternating current.
