Automatic Source Switching

The STS-30 features automatic switching between utility power and generator, inverter, or between generator and inverter. This flexibility makes it easy to maintain continuous power without manual intervention, providing peace of mind to users during outages.

Heavy-Duty Relay Design

Equipped with a robust Double Pole Double Throw (DPDT) relay, the Samlex STS-30 ensures efficient switching of both the line and neutral connections. This design enhances durability and reliability, catering to heavy use and reducing the risk of failure.

DIP Switch Delay Control

With the integrated DIP switch, users can enable a time delay of 20 to 25 seconds when switching to generator power. This feature safeguards your equipment by allowing generators to reach stable operation before load transfer, preventing potential damage from sudden power surges.

The transfer switch comes with a standard North American power cord, allowing simple connection to 15 Amp NEMA5-15R receptacles on generators or inverters with an 1800 VA capacity. For full 30 Amp capacity, users can easily replace the cord with a larger one if needed.

EG4 off-grid base kit, Happy with my purchase.

This is the first stage of my three planned purches. I got the eg4 inverter 6000 XP base kit with six 400 watt panels and the two server rack batteries. Did a little online research and followed the instructions and it got set up without any issues. Right now I'm just running it in my garage on a single outlet and have been running dual 750 watt water distillers with it. Once I get the second inverter and a bunch more panels and batteries, I plan on attaching it to my subpanel in my house that has my lights and outlets and appliances on it. Then I'll get a soft start for my AC and blower and run it on my main panel.
