How It Works

This polycrystalline module converts sunlight into direct current electricity using an array of 48 interconnected solar cells. Each cell is formed from polycrystalline silicon, which captures incoming solar radiation and generates an electrical charge through the photovoltaic effect. The cells are wired together to deliver a maximum power of 200 Wp under standard test conditions, with a voltage at maximum power of 24.2 volts and a current at maximum power of 8.27 amperes. When the panel is exposed to sunlight, an open circuit voltage of 27.7 volts and a short circuit current of 8.86 amperes are established at the terminals. The tempered glass surface protects the cells while allowing high light transmission, and the robust frame supports secure mounting at the correct tilt and orientation. Power flows through the IP68 junction box and MC4 connectors to the rest of the system, where charge controllers, inverters, and batteries can be integrated according to the project design.
