The BYD MSBK-33 655W mono bifacial monocrystalline solar panel delivers high power density for large scale projects. This advanced dual glass module uses 210 mm monocrystalline cells to achieve up to 21.73% module efficiency across the range. The 655 W variant offers 21.1% efficiency, making it ideal where available roof or ground space is limited. Bifacial design enables energy generation from both the front and rear surfaces for higher yield. In real sites, this feature can provide an additional 5% to 25% power gain, depending on installation conditions. The robust dual glass construction and high strength aluminium frame support mechanical loads up to 5400 Pa on the front. Negative load resistance of 2400 Pa helps ensure reliability in high wind conditions. With a maximum system voltage of 1500 V, the module integrates easily into modern high voltage arrays. It maintains excellent performance at higher temperatures thanks to a low power temperature coefficient of -0.328% per degree Celsius. How It Works
The BYD MSBK-33 655W mono bifacial solar panel converts sunlight into clean DC electricity using high efficiency monocrystalline cells. Each cell uses a large 210 mm wafer that captures more light on the active area. The cells are interconnected into a dual glass module that protects them from moisture and mechanical stress. Front side glass receives direct sunlight while the rear side captures reflected and diffuse light from the ground or nearby surfaces. This two sided collection increases total energy output compared to conventional monofacial panels. Generated DC power is delivered through the junction box and cables to an inverter. The inverter converts the DC power into AC suitable for homes, businesses, or grid export. Low temperature coefficients keep power loss under control during hot conditions. Stable performance under low irradiation helps maintain production on hazy or cloudy days. Across its lifetime, the panel is designed to degrade slowly, preserving a high percentage of initial output after 30 years.
Bifacial dual glass architecture: The module uses glass on both sides to protect the cell string and enable bifacial operation. Light striking the rear side is converted into additional electricity, increasing overall yield without extra footprint.
