How It Works

This DS New Energy 375 PERC monocrystalline solar panel converts sunlight into usable electrical power. Each of the 72 monocrystalline PERC cells absorbs light and generates direct current energy. The cells are electrically connected to deliver a maximum power output of 375 watts under standard conditions. At maximum power, the module operates at about 39.27 volts and 9.55 amps. An open circuit voltage of 48.47 volts and short circuit current of 10.06 amps define its electrical envelope. Bypass diodes inside the IP67 junction box help manage shading and reduce power loss. The module is linked in series and parallel strings to reach the required array voltage and current. This power then flows to a suitable inverter, where it is converted into grid compatible alternating current. The design maintains stable performance within the defined temperature range and power tolerance band.

Monocrystalline PERC cell conversion: High purity monocrystalline silicon cells capture sunlight efficiently across the module surface. PERC technology adds a rear surface passivation layer, helping reflect unabsorbed light back into the cell for additional energy generation.

Optimized electrical operating point: The panel delivers its rated 375 watt output at a maximum power voltage of 39.27 volts. An operating current of 9.55 amps at this point allows inverters to track the optimal power point and maximize production.

This is the first stage of my three planned purches. I got the eg4 inverter 6000 XP base kit with six 400 watt panels and the two server rack batteries. Did a little online research and followed the instructions and it got set up without any issues. Right now I'm just running it in my garage on a single outlet and have been running dual 750 watt water distillers with it. Once I get the second inverter and a bunch more panels and batteries, I plan on attaching it to my subpanel in my house that has my lights and outlets and appliances on it. Then I'll get a soft start for my AC and blower and run it on my main panel.
