How It Works

This monocrystalline 140W solar panel converts sunlight into DC electricity using high quality silicon solar cells. When sunlight hits the 36 cells, photons are absorbed and released as electrical energy, creating current that flows through the panel’s busbars and cables. The module is typically connected to a charge controller for battery‑based systems, or to a solar inverter for grid‑connected installations. In off‑grid setups, the controller protects the battery while storing energy for use when the sun is not available. In grid systems, the inverter synchronises the power with the utility network. The EE1140 panel works as a modular building block, so several modules can be wired together to reach the desired array voltage and power level for each project.

This is the first stage of my three planned purches. I got the eg4 inverter 6000 XP base kit with six 400 watt panels and the two server rack batteries. Did a little online research and followed the instructions and it got set up without any issues. Right now I'm just running it in my garage on a single outlet and have been running dual 750 watt water distillers with it.
