How It Works

This flexible monocrystalline panel converts sunlight into DC electricity using high quality silicon cells. When light hits the 36 solar cells, photons are absorbed and electron flow is created across each cell. The cells are wired together to deliver 100 Wp under standard test conditions with stable performance. At maximum power, the panel operates at 18.2 V and 5.49 A for efficient charging. An open circuit voltage of 22.3 V and short circuit current of 6.02 A define electrical limits. The ETFE encapsulant protects the cells while allowing excellent light transmission to the active layers. Generated DC power is routed through the IP68 junction box and connected cables to your charge controller. From there, energy is stored in batteries or supplied to DC loads, depending on system design. The panel runs silently, requires minimal maintenance and produces clean, renewable electricity every day. This is the first stage of my three planned purches. I got the eg4 inverter 6000 XP base kit with six 400 watt panels and the two server rack batteries. Did a little online research and followed the instructions and it got set up without any issues. Right now I'm just running it in my garage on a single outlet and have been running dual 750 watt water distillers with it. Once I get the second inverter and a bunch more panels and batteries, I plan on attaching it to my subpanel in my house that has my lights and outlets and appliances on it. Then I'll get a soft start for my AC and blower and run it on my main panel.
