This monocrystalline solar panel converts sunlight into direct current electricity through its 120 high efficiency cells. When the sun hits the cell surface, photons transfer energy to electrons in the silicon, creating electrical current. The 455 Wp rating is defined under standard test conditions, helping system designers predict array production. During operation, the panel works at its maximum power point, balancing voltage and current to maximize output. Integrated bypass diodes in the IP68 junction box help reduce power loss in partial shading.
