This Green Sun GSPV-215W monocrystalline solar panel converts sunlight into usable DC electricity through high efficiency crystalline silicon cells. Each of the 48 cells generates a small voltage when exposed to sunlight, and the cells are connected in series to produce a higher operating voltage. At standard test conditions, the module delivers a nominal operating voltage near 24V, making it well suited to 24V battery systems and compatible inverters. The generated DC power flows through the factory fitted junction box and MC4 connectors to the rest of the solar array or charge controller. When combined with an inverter, the DC energy is converted to AC power for household loads or grid export. Robust thermal characteristics and a defined temperature coefficient help maintain performance under heat and cold. This integrated design delivers dependable energy output across a wide range of operating environments and applications.
Monocrystalline energy conversion: The panel uses 156 x 156 mm mono cells that absorb sunlight and release electrons inside the silicon lattice. The electric field in each cell drives these electrons to the front contacts, creating a direct current that is combined across all 48 cells.
Module integration and protection: The cells are encapsulated in EVA and covered with 3.2 mm tempered glass for mechanical protection and optical clarity.
