The Green Sun Solar GSPV-220W (156M)48 solar panel converts sunlight into usable DC electricity through its monocrystalline silicon cells. When sunlight hits the 156 x 156 mm cells, photons create an electric field across each cell. This generates current that flows through the module busbars and integrated junction box. The panel operates at a nominal voltage of roughly 24 V, which matches common off grid and grid tied system designs. DC cables with MC4 compatible connectors allow quick connection to inverters, charge controllers, or battery systems. Within a complete solar array, multiple panels can be wired in series or parallel to reach the required system voltage and current. Once the DC power reaches an inverter, it is converted into AC electricity for household or commercial loads. Any excess energy can be stored in batteries or exported to the grid, depending on the system configuration and local regulations.
