When sunlight reaches the cell surface, photons transfer energy to electrons in the silicon structure. This energy movement generates direct current, which flows through the module’s internal busbars and conductors. The generated current is collected in the junction box, then delivered through the 4 mm² DC cables to the system inverter. The inverter converts the direct current into alternating current suitable for household or commercial loads. During operation, the open circuit voltage and short circuit current define the module’s behavior in each string. The specified NOCT temperature and thermal coefficients help predict output under real operating conditions rather than test conditions.
