How It Works
This bifacial monocrystalline solar panel converts sunlight into usable DC electricity using high efficiency PERC cells arranged in a 144 half cell layout. When sunlight reaches the front glass surface, photons are absorbed in the mono cells and generate an electric current that flows through the module’s busbars and output cables. At the same time, the transparent rear side allows additional light, reflected from the ground or surrounding surfaces, to reach the rear of the cells and add extra energy yield. The generated DC power is carried through the IP68 junction box and MC4 compatible connectors to an inverter, where it is converted into AC power for homes, businesses, or off grid systems. Integrated bypass diodes help minimize mismatch losses when shading occurs on parts of the module. The low temperature coefficients and robust frame design allow this panel to operate reliably in a wide ambient temperature range from -40 to +85 °C.
Bifacial PERC energy conversion: PERC monocrystalline cells use a passivated rear surface to capture more light and reduce recombination losses, which enhances conversion efficiency compared with standard cell designs. The bifacial construction exposes both sides of the cell, so light entering from the rear side adds current and increases overall kWh generation in suitable mounting environments.
Half cell and electrical layout: The 144 cell design is based on half cut 166 × 83 mm mono cells arranged in a 6 × 24 configuration to reduce resistive losses and improve shade tolerance across the module surface. Lower current in each half cell string helps reduce internal heating and supports higher power output while maintaining strong reliability at a maximum system voltage of 1500 V.
System integration and operation: The module connects through MC4 compatible connectors and 4.0 mm² output cables to string inverters or optimizers in residential and commercial arrays. A series fuse rating of 20 A defines safe string design, while the wide operating temperature range and mechanical load ratings allow installation in varied climates with snow and wind loading, ensuring stable operation over the warranted lifetime.
