This Himin Solar HG-540W-182M/144 PERC monocrystalline solar panel converts sunlight into usable DC electricity using high efficiency silicon cells. Each of the 144 half cut cells generates current when photons strike the semiconductor junction. The cells are wired in series and parallel to deliver a maximum power of 540 W at around 41.72 V and 12.95 A under standard test conditions. Anti reflection glass increases light transmission, while PERC cell design improves carrier collection from the rear surface. As irradiance and temperature change, the module continues operating within its wide range from minus 40 to 85 degrees Celsius. The produced DC power then flows through the junction box and 4 mm² cables to a compatible inverter or charge controller. Over time the module maintains performance thanks to controlled temperature coefficients and a low degradation profile.
PERC monocrystalline energy conversion: The panel features monocrystalline silicon cells with Passivated Emitter Rear Contact technology.
